You Can Now Merge Table Cells In Google Docs (Yep, That Was Way Overdue)

Google Docs now has the ability to merge table cells. Let this serve as a reminder that when it comes to functionality, Google Docs has a long way to go to catch up with Office.

Select multiple cells (using either the keyboard or the mouse), right-click and choose ‘Merge cells’. Existing Word documents with merged cells which are imported will also now apparently display correctly. As with most Google updates, this may not show up in all accounts immediately.
