Ring Menu Adds A Shortcut To Your Most Used Stuff Anywhere

Mac: The Mac OS X Dock is great, but if you’re looking for something a little different, Ring Menu pulls up all your favourite apps and documents anywhere you want them.

Ring Menu is basically a Dock that’s shaped as a ring which you can pull up anywhere. Hit a keyboard shortcut (or trackpad gesture), and you can easily select whatever software you’ve chosen to be there alongside any files. If you think of it like a Mass Effect dialogue wheel for your apps then you’re on the right track. It’s a pretty simple concept, but it’s great on smaller displays where the Dock might get in the way.
