Most wallpaper scrapers have a metal edge that works great to peel off wallpaper, but if you are concerned about damaging your walls and your scraper is too small, dive into your car trunk and pull out your windshield ice scraper.
The added length will provide more reach and leverage to push against and the plastic edge will be easier on your walls.
