Google Search Now Displays Lyrics Right In Search Results

Google Search Now Displays Lyrics Right In Search Results

If you’re searching for lyrics for a song on Google, you’ll now get instant results right at the top of the results page. All you need to do is type in “[song title] lyrics.”

Right now, the results seem to be powered by Google Play, so only songs that have lyrics in that database will show up properly. For example, most Beastie Boys songs will pull up results, but it you’re looking for lyrics to Black Sabbath you’ll have to search elsewhere. Still, for a lot of songs, it’s nice to get those results right on Google instead of some shady ad-filled site.
