DockPhone Dials Out From Your Mac Quickly

Mac: If you want to use Yosemite’s new phone call feature, you need to either open up FaceTime or search for a contact in Spotlight. That’s not terribly cumbersome, but if you’re looking for an even quicker solution, DockPhone makes dialling out easy.

All you need to do with DockPhone is type in a contact name, then click to dial. There’s no built-in keypad, but it’s still easier to use than loading up FaceTime. That’s about all DockPhone does, but if you use Yosemite’s phone call feature, it’s nice to have.
