iOS: We waste a lot of money each year throwing out expired food. Cloud Freezer tracks the expiration dates of stuff in your freezer to ensure you use all of the food you buy.
Its design is pretty simple. You enter the contents of your freezer, and the app gives you expiration dates. You can also enter the dates manually. The app then lists each item, according to how many days are left until it expires. You also have the option of using an in-app barcode scanner, but you’ll have to pay 99 cents for that feature.
The app syncs across devices, which is convenient. Also, once you enter an item, the app saves it, which makes it easier to enter that item if you buy it again. If you’ve got a packed freezer, it makes for a good meal-planning companion. Click the link to give it a try.
