Ebook subscription service Scribd had added 30,000 audiobooks to its existing library of titles.

Scribd users can now listen to audiobooks from authors like Suzane Collins (“Hunger Games”), Cormac McCarthy (“The Road”), Haruki Murakami (“Norwegian Wood”), and many others. The audiobooks are available to anyone with the basic Scribd subscription plan of $US8.99 a month. Just like standard ebooks, audiobooks can be stored on your device for offline use, and you can even set a sleep timer so you can fall asleep listening to an audiobook without worrying about your device running all night long.
Scribd users on Android and Kindle Fire already have access to the new audiobook streaming; an update for the iOS app will be released in the next few days. You can also enjoy the audiobooks on any PC.
