Yesterday Rackspace announced plans to offer full access to Microsoft’s cloud platform in its US data centres. But will we get that option in Rackspace’s Australian data centre in Sydney?
Local Rackspace MD Angus Dorney told Lifehacker the company is “actively exploring opportunities with Microsoft locally”. We suspect one reason it isn’t being launched simultaneously here is that Microsoft has only just launched its own local Azure data centres and doesn’t want to confuse the market.
