Pushbullet Now Lets You Send Text Messages From Your Computer

Android: Pushbullet, the awesome app that syncs notifications between your phone and PC, got yet another update today. Now, you can send text messages through your Android phone from the Chrome extension, turning Pushbullet into a fully-featured text-from-your-PC solution.

Pushbullet recently added the ability to reply to text messages, but now you can send them too, right from the button in Chrome. The process is very straightforward and works quite well — it even autocompletes contact names for you to make the process a snap. It’s still not quite as robust as something like MightyText, but if you already use Pushbullet, it works well for basic texting.
