Sometimes, you have to make do with what’s in your pantry, especially if you’re making something with unusual ingredients. This video from Food+Wine shows you how to use sandwich bread to make spring roll wrappers.
Take your slices of sandwich bread, cut the crusts off, then roll each slice with a rolling pin until it’s almost paper thin. Next, add your filling and use a bit of water on one edge of the “wrapper” to seal the roll. Fry until golden brown and enjoy!
