Discover Your Writing Process With Draftback

Discover Your Writing Process with Draftback

Chrome: It can be difficult to decipher our own writing processes. Draftback uses Google Docs' revision history and tracks each keystroke of your document, even ones you made before it was installed.

Draftback lets you play back your writing on Google Docs so you can see your patterns, identify your own challenges and find your sticking points.

Unfortunately, if you upload a draft from another word processor to Google Docs, Draftback doesn't work nearly as well due to the limited revision history.

If Draftback users could share videos, you would also be able to study other people's writing processes and see how they write differently. Similarly, others could also watch your videos to understand your practices, or help you out by identifying your challenges and sticking points. There are no ways of easily sharing these videos right now, short of screen capturing with third-party software.

Draftback is an extremely useful tool for students, bloggers, writers and anyone who writes. Check it out at the link below.
