Add Restart, Sleep, Shut Down And Log Out Commands To Spotlight

Mac: For whatever reason, you can’t initiate reboot commands from Spotlight in Yosemite. GitHub user siong1987 created a set of apps that adds restart, sleep, logout and shutdown commands to Spotlight.

Basically, you’re installing four apps with the names Restart, Sleep, Logout, and Shutdown that all initiate those actions. So, when you pull up Spotlight and type those commands, it launches those apps. It’s a pretty clever little workaround to add a little more functionality to Spotlight. You can snag all four apps on siong1987’s GitHub page.
