iOS: Tweetbot, our favourite Twitter client for the iPhone, has been updated with some great new iOS 8 features today, including extension support and interactive notifications.
You can now interact with any Tweetbot notifications you get direct from Notification Center. This means you can easily reply or favourite tweets without opening up the app.
What’s more interesting is the new extension support. You can now quickly share links and tweets to other apps. This means if you see something on Twitter you can instantly send it over to Pocket or Evernote (for example) with just a tap. It makes saving links from Twitter a lot easier. Finally, the app has also been updated for the new displays on both the iPhone 6 and 6+.
