Enhancements to the humble command prompt are one of our favourite things about Windows 10. We’ve highlighted some of the more obvious changes, and Microsoft has now published a detailed list of all the enhancements.
While our overview highlighted visible changes such as being able to change transparency and enable word wrap, there are also bigger adjustments under the hood, such as how text is selected. You can also default to the basic CMD.EXE window without enhancements if you need it.
