iOS: Transmit is our favourite FTP app for the Mac, and now it’s available on iOS. It sports pretty much the same feature set as the Mac app, and with deep iOS 8 integration, you can upload files from just about anywhere.
As you’d expect from an FTP client, Transmit allows you to upload files, manage them remotely and transfer files in the background. With iOS 8 Share Sheets, you can also upload files from other apps, which makes it easy to use on the go. Likewise, you can also edit any documents on your FTP server from third-party apps. The app works seamlessly with other apps, so it’s easy to upload, edit and manage your FTP files. Even at a pricey $12.99, it’s incredibly useful if you need to manage FTP files from your iPhone or iPad.
