Yes, it’s almost the second Tuesday of the month and we’re due another bunch of Microsoft patches. With just four updates scheduled this month, hopefully the experience won’t be too painful.

Microsoft’s advance notification highlights four patches. One only impacts Microsoft Lync. The other three affect Windows and, as you’d expect, two of the three require a restart.
One update (Bulletin 3) only impacts Windows 8 and Server 2012 installations — but even if you’re skipping those, the Internet Explorer-related fixes in Bulletin 1 will force you down the reboot path anyway.
