Jelly And Marshmallows Make A Quick And Tasty Fondant

Jelly And Marshmallows Make A Quick And Tasty Fondant

Fondant icing is the ingredient cake artists use to create their masterpieces. Supermarkets don’t always carry it, though. Use some marshmallows and jelly and make your own instead.

Marshmallow fondant is a common replacement for the pre-made version. Most bakers add extracts for flavour and food colouring for colour. If you substitute jelly crystals for these extras, you get flavour and colour in one step. It’s cheap and easy to use and requires less cleanup than mixing in colours and flavorings in two steps.
