Soak Unpopped Popcorn Kernels To Give Them A Second Chance

No matter what method you use to make popcorn, you always seem to end up with a few kernels that didn’t pop. Soaking the kernels overnight in water can help them pop the second time around.

I tried this tip, and it worked like a charm. Obviously, you can’t put them back in the microwave bag and try again, but if you use a hot-air popper or a frying pan, you’ll be able to get the best bang for your buck. Keep them in an airtight container and soak a batch of “old maids” right before movie night or the poker game, and never throw away unpopped popcorn again.
