Don’t you hate it when you open a bag of chips into a bowl and the broken chips end up on top? Instead, open the bag from the bottom so the crumbs stay on the bottom and the flavouring is evening distributed.

We’ve pointed out the virtues of this approach before, but it’s a tip that’s definitely worth repeating. Opening from the bottom definitely produces a better result, especially if you’re going to pour the bag into a bowl.
