Dumpster Is A Recycle Bin For Android To Restore Deleted Files

Android: Accidentally deleted a photo or file from your smartphone and need it back? Free app Dumpster is the Android equivalent of the Recycle Bin for Windows or Trash Can for Mac.

Just like on Windows, if you delete a file, it will go straight to Dumpster where you can restore it if needed. You can preview any file in Dumpster itself. The app can be set up to work with images, audio, documents and video. In our test, it also recovered deleted APK files, VCF cards and HTML pages.

Dumpster will keep files forever till you manually delete them, or you can set them to be automatically purged after a certain time. Note that the app will only recover files deleted after you install it, not those deleted before you got Dumpster. The free version comes with ads, and it costs $2.99 to remove them through an in-app purchase.
