Mac: Dropzone 3, the OS X app that boosts your drag-and-drop productivity, has been updated. It now features a “Drop Bar” for temporarily storing files, integration with Imgur for easy photo sharing, and AirDrop support.
Dropzone sits in the OS X Menu Bar, with a drop-down window when you click it. You can have shortcuts for apps or folders here, as well as “built-in actions” for sharing services integrated in OS X, including Twitter, Facebook and Flickr. Dropzone also adds Imgur to the mix, so you can quickly upload photos and share them.
The new Drop bar is a temporary space where you can drag-and-drop any file, such as a GIF from a web browser or a document from your hard drive. You can also stack these files together and drag them to any built-in action or folder.
Dropzone 3 also adds support for Airdrop and Notification Center, and it shows progress bars for any task it is doing.
It’s currently half price at $6.49 on the Mac App Store, but you can try it before you buy it by downloading the trial version from the its official site linked below.
