If you need to check how much memory your Chromebook has, you could head to chrome://system in Chrome, but the data can be impenetrable. Install System from the Chrome Web Store and system specs are just a couple of clicks away.
At a glance, you can check details such as which CPU your Chromebook has, how much memory you have, as well as useful information about your network adaptor. The details are not exhaustive, but System has all of the essentials covered.
You can also use the app on a Mac or PC that has Chrome, but it really comes into its own on a Chromebook as the built-in option in Chrome OS is rather intimidating for the uninitiated. If you’re on a PC, you’ll get more information with something like Speccy.
