Efficiently Pack Jewellery For Travel With A Microfibre Cloth

Jewellery gets easily knotted if you haven’t packed it well in your suitcase, so Mom of 6 author Sharon suggests using a microfibre cloth to roll them up. It will keep them from knotting and give you easy access when you need them.

Lay out your microfibre cloth and place your necklaces, bracelets and anything else in rows, spaced slightly apart. Sharon writes at the I’m an Organising Junkie blog:

Beginning on one end, roll up the cloth, making sure that no two pieces of jewelry touch one another during the rolling process, and they are each secured within their own roll of the cloth. Fold the two ends together and place it in your bag.

To get around the knotting problem, you can also use a drinking straw, but that means it’s a hassle to get to your jewellery. This method makes it easy to take just what you want and wrap it up again quickly.
