Bake Bread On Your Hotplate

Bake Bread on Your Stovetop

If your living situation doesn't provide access to an oven or bread maker, WikiHow has a step by step guide to baking tasty bread using a hotplate.

You mix and knead your bread dough as you normally would, but instead of putting your dough in a baking tin, you toss it all in a glass bowl. Then that glass bowl goes into a large porcelain pot with some stones, tile or ceramic pieces at the bottom. The flatter the pieces the better. Just top off your pot with a lid, crank up the heat to high, and you've got fresh bread in 15 minutes or so. For a complete guide, check out the link below.

    Call it what it is....Damper!

Damper uses bicarb, though, and this looks yeast-leavened.
Not gonna get much crust or rising without the air circulation, so it's not going to replace ovens anytime soon.
