Android's Stock Email App Arrives on the Play Store

Android: If you're not using Gmail on an Android phone, you've probably been relegated to whatever email app came with your phone. Now, Google has released its own Email app to the Play Store as another option.

Google's email app is fairly similar to its Gmail app. While it lacks a few features, the interface is nearly the same one you're used to with Gmail, but it can support Hotmail, Outlook, Yahoo Mail, and any other POP3, IMAP or Exchange accounts. Now that it's on the Play Store, it can be updated separately, which means not only can users without Nexus or Google Edition devices use it, but you don't need to wait for a new Android version to get new features.
