Android/iOS: Having to watch a 15-second commercial before you can view the 30-second video you really want to see is annoying. EndlessTV, available for Android and iOS, streams popular video clips to your device without forcing you to watch commercials.
The EndlessTV mobile app will play commercial-free video clips from a variety of channels, including ESPN, Food Network and TMZ. The catch is you can’t choose your videos or search for a particular clip; it tries to find videos it thinks you’ll like. If you don’t like the clip it chooses for you, you can swipe it away and load the next one without having to wait for a commercial to play first.
There is one place you’ll see ads, however: When you pause a clip by tapping on the screen, a static ad will appear on one side of the screen. Other than that, you’re free to clip surf at will.
It’s a new and interesting way to watch video clips, but EndlessTV’s success may depend on how good it is at picking the clips you actually want to see. Hit the link to try it out.
