Downcount For Android Tracks Daily Countdowns To Important Events

Android: Regular timer apps typically count down in hours, minutes and seconds. Downcount keeps track of important events by displaying them in a daily countdown.

Using Downcount couldn’t be simpler. Just tap the “+” sign to add a new countdown, then enter a name and date. To edit a countdown, long press on it. You can delete a countdown by swiping it in either direction. There’s also a widget to add individual countdowns to either your home screen or lock screen.

Downcount is a nice and simple way to add a daily countdown to devices with Android 4.1 and up. If you need to use a traditional timer, you can always use the “set timer” command in Google Now to bring up your Android’s default timer app. Downcount is free. You can pay the $1 in-app upgrade to get rid of the ads.
