Chrome: Have a tab problem that you can’t reign in on your own? xTab is an extension for Chrome that puts a limit on open tabs and starts closing them when you reach the maximum number.
xTab only has a couple of settings: the maximum number of tabs, and which tabs get destroyed when you reach that number. For example, you can set it so when you reach 20 tabs, xTabs will close the least accessed tab currently open. If that doesn’t work for you, you can also close the oldest or least recently used tab. Obviously, everyone doesn’t need this, but if you or a loved one have a tab problem you’re trying to keep under control, xTab’s worth a look.

Hope it’s easy to disable in case of porn.
As someone who has 50+ tabs open regularly (thank god for 16gb of ram), this probably would be handy, but having it close tabs automatically … no thanks.
