Online Bargains For Hump Day (If You Act Fast)

Hump day (AKA Wednesday) is arguably the most boring day of the week. So why not liven things up by grabbing one of these nifty online bargains?   • Skype has announced that group video calling will now be completely free of charge. The free version is compatible with Windows, Mac and Xbox One with mobile and other platforms reportedly on the way.
  • Coles is holding a 50% off promotion this week across a range of grocery products. Here are some highlights, courtesy of OzBargain.
  • Apple has refreshed its MacBook Air notebook lineup and reduced pricing slightly on some models. That makes some of the new designs a better deal, and there‚Äôs no evidence of a major Australia tax. For instance, the 11in 256GB SSD model is now priced at $1299, down from $1349.   • For a limited time, Udemy is offering a range of online courses free of charge. Available courses include Getting to Know WordPress, Learn to Speak: Conversational French, Be A YouTube Ninja: For Your Blog, Business & Monetization and Business Development For Startups and Tech Companies. These courses normally cost up to $297.

    Just an update. None of the Kindle books I looked at are free any more. I went through about 10 and they're around the $3 mark. Haven't checked them all though.
