Those who use a computer mouse with their left hand will be happy to know that common keyboard shortcuts like cut, copy and paste do have alternatives on the right side of the keyboard.

Usually, to cut/copy/paste, you would use the Ctrl+X, Ctrl+C, and Ctrl+V shortcuts. But if you want to use your right hand on the keyboard, here are the alternatives:
- Cut: Shift+Delete
- Copy: Ctrl+Insert
- Paste: Shift+Insert
These keyboard shortcuts will work on Windows, Gnome and KDE. These were the only shortcuts for southpaws I found on the web (another commonly suggested one was Alt+Backspace, but that doesn’t seem to work any more). If you know of any more right-handed alternatives to common keyboard shortcuts, share them below!

I Would be very careful about how you use shift->delete.
If you are using it to cut files that is the shortcut to skip the recycle bin and permanently delete.
I am a rightie that roles with left handed mousing. These will be handy thanks!
Agree that Shift+Del should be avoided.
alt+backspace works for me. It’s Undo.
I’m left handed and use the mouse in the right hand. Means I can still type with my preferred hand and write if I’m taking notes or anything.
Yeah, I’m a leftie who uses the mouse in the right hand. I find it weird that people use the mouse with the left hand. But then again I use both hands for a range of tasks, from bowling (and throwing in general) to wearing a watch.
