Camera sliders make it easy to achieve beautiful, smooth movement in your videos. The problem? Like most camera equipment, you’ll drop quite a bit of cash to pay for them. Here’s one you can make yourself for just $35.
Instructables user DerekMellott put together a camera slider using the following IKEA parts:
- LEGITIM Chopping board $2.99
- KVARTAL Glider and hook $4
- KVARTAL Triple curtain rail $25
- KVARTAL Ceiling fitting $3
You’ll also need some special screws, as Derek explains in the full post on Instructables. If you want to make your own slider, this project isn’t too difficult so long as you have a few common tools and a little time.
