How To Opt Out Of Twitter’s New Photo Tagging

Recently, Twitter rolled out a couple of new photo features, one of which is the ability to tag the people in a photo. If you’d rather not be tagged in Twitter photos, here’s how to prevent it from happening.

On the web, go to Settings > Security and Privacy and then select whether you want to allow anyone to tag you, allow only people you follow to tag you, or not allow any tagging at all. In both the iOS and Android apps, the procedure is much the same. Open settings and choose the account you want to apply settings to. In iOS, look for the Privacy settings. In Android, look for the Other settings. You’ll see the options to disable photo tagging.
