Google Alerts Now Have Regional Settings

Google Alerts, the handy way to track new content online, are now more flexible: you can filter your alerts by region or language.

As Google Operating System points out, you can set both region and country filters to match your search query — so you could see only German language news from from Germany, or any new video content from Australia. The language you choose will also be the language in which alerts emails are sent.
