If you use Gmail’s tabbed interface and have the Promotions tab enabled, that tab could get a little prettier in the near future. Gmail is currently field-testing a thumbnail view of the Promotions tab and you can sign up to try it out.
Since promotional messages often use a lot of images, a thumbnail view makes sense. It’s often quicker scanning images, especially those from known brands, to find what you’re looking for or get rid of what you don’t want. If you’re interested, you can sign up for the new field trial. There’s no guarantee you’ll be selected, but it’s worth a shot.
