Tool rolls make a handy alternative to lugging around a tool box or bag, especially if you only need a subset of your tools. Sure, there are commercial products, but why not make your own for just a few bucks?
Instructables user ADintheStudio shows us how to make this handy tool roll that is great for organising, protecting and transporting tools. All you need are some basic sewing skills, a sewing machine and about half a metre of fabric. Using the same instructions, you could also make a roll for your kitchen knives, knitting supplies or just about anything you’d like to carry around together.
