The course is offered in association with North Coast TAFE, runs for 24 months and includes a work placement. What will that set you back? $3690 — though if you pay up front before the end of February you’ll receive 20 per cent ($738) off. Alternatively, you can pay $100 up front and then $49.86 a week for 18 months, though that will cost you close to $4000 overall.

Wow.. to study it on campus it is only $720 and takes 5 months. What a rip.
From personal experience, a cert IV IT may be an excellent learning experience, but it’s completely useless for getting a job.
I totally agree with you. As an IT student from RMIT, I have to get a lot of working experience before graduating in order to boost my career. Personally, I had 3 internships and am currently taking work placement as a part of my degree so I understand the importance of working experience for IT industry. I checked on that site and found that the cert IV IT does require work placement to graduate from the course which is great. Hardly any online course offers work placement program like this so I think it’s a good choice.
