Moves Updates To Track 60 Different Types Of Activity

iPhone: Moves is one of our favourite activity trackers because it’s simple, automatic and relatively battery-conservative. Now, it also tracks all kinds of new activities, from rollerblading to gym training.

The crux of Moves is the fact that it can automatically differentiate between different forms of transportation such as running, cycling, walking or being in a car, but that only provides you with a limited amount of data about your overall fitness. Now, you can manually enter in different activity types — from paintball to swimming — and track all of that data in one place.

It’s a little unintuitive at first because to add data; you need to tap on the place in the Moves timeline, then hit the plus sign in the corner. But once it’s easy to track everything you do once you get the hang of it. The Android version should get the update soon as well.
