Evernote Adds A Smarter, More Natural Way To Search Your Notes

Mac: Evernote for Mac has today with what it calls “Descriptive Search”. It’s a more powerful way to find all sorts of notes you’ve buried in Evernote.

Type in your search phrase, and Evernote will now offer suggestions based on a wide range of filters. You can find all the notes created last year, for example, images or PDFs, notes clipped from the web, notes made in a specific city and so on. You just need to type in the relevant phrase. For example, type “in Japan” or “web clips last month”. Here’s Evernote’s list of available filters:
