  • Each Wednesday, ALDI runs a ‘Special Buys’ sale on a range of heavily discounted items. Today’s deals focus on Italian cookware and educational products for kids. Click here to see the full range of deals.
  • You can currently get 30 days unlimited access to Dreamworld, WhiteWater and SkyPoint for just $30. The sale ends 28 February with the 30 days kicking in after purchase.
  • Big W is selling the Nintendo Wii U Mario and Luigi Black Premium Console Pack for $368; a saving of $60.
  • Event Cinemas is re-screening all of this year’s Best Picture Oscar nominees in the lead up to the Academy Awards. The films — 12 Years a Slave, The Wolf of Wall Street, American Hustle, Philomena, Gravity, Captain Philips and Dallas Buyers Club — will be showing until 5 March for $10 per ticket.
  • JB Hi-Fi is currently selling the 128GB Microsoft Surface Pro for $598; a saving of $100. The model comes with 4GB of RAM and a 3rd Generation Intel Core i5 processor. It’s not the most recent Surface Pro iteration, but $598 is still a pretty good deal.

  • Attention Sydneysiders: In a bid to make the local cab market more competitive, Uber has decided that all cab rides booked through UberTAXI will be 40 per cent cheaper between the hours of 10am and 5pm.
  • Here’s one for Queensland shoppers: the Good Guys is offering $20 off when you spend $50 of more. That’s a saving of up to 20 per cent. To qualify, you need to get hold of the voucher in the latest Good Guys catalogue (no print offs, unfortunately.) [Via OzBargain]
