You can spend days and days reading reviews to find the perfect camera, but seeing the pictures a camera takes is the best way to gauge if it has what you’re looking for. To see a lot of amateur and professional photos from any given camera, Wired suggests you look on Flickr.
Flickr’s Camera Finder page allows you to search for photos from specific cameras. Just type in the model you’re considering, and you’ll see a lot of photos taken with that camera. You can also fine-tune your search to include factors like lighting, macro, or even action shots, so you can see what type of results you can expect from a camera. It’s a lot better than looking at a manufacturer’s set of photos or getting lost in a rabbit hole of reviews.
