Twitter has added new search filters to its web client that now allow you to filter by videos, news, local results and people you follow.
The new search options is being rolled out gradually, and unfortunately it’s only available on the web right now — no mobile client options. However, the ability to drill down into both local results and people you know are powerful tools. We’ve already extolled the virtues of using Twitter as a real-time information engine, and these new filters make that easier.
