Sunlit Automatically Makes A Photo Journal Using App.net Storage

iOS: If you like to add a little context to your photos, Sunlit is an app that allows you to turn your photos into a pretty but simple journal. All you need is a free App.net account.

App.net is by no means the most popular social network out there, but it does come with free storage and a solid privacy policy. Sunlit integrates into App.net with more than just the storage though; you can also invite other App.net users to contribute to your journal and everything they add will sync to yours.

The app itself looks great and provides fantastic maps to go along with your photos as well as a place to write down any thoughts you might have. You journal is private by default, but if you really like what you have, you can instantly publish your journal to a web page to share with others.

The App.net integration makes Sunlit less approachable for some, but it’s worth checking out if you’re looking for a solid photo-journalling app.
