iOS: Pad & Quill is best known for its phone and tablet cases, but today it unveiled a good-looking note-taking app for iPhone and iPad. It supports multiple notebooks, photos and graphics in notes, automatic table of contents and iCloud syncing so you have your notes on all your devices.

Pad & Quill picked up an honourable mention when we highlighted iPad cases, but even if you don’t own a case by the company, its note-taking app is worth a look. You can organise your notes into notebooks (that, of course, look like the company’s cases), customise those notebooks by colour, design or topic, add photos and images to your notes, change the font to your liking and more. You get a few for free, but more covers and fonts will set you back $3 via in-app purchase.

You can share the notes with others via Airdrop, or just let them sync automatically to your iCloud account so you can get to them on another device. The app is universal too, so it works on the iPhone and the iPad, and the iPad version supports landscape mode. The app is free and available in the iTunes App Store now.
