Make A DIY Microwave Heat Bag

Make A DIY Microwave Heat Bag

When you have aching joints, nothing beats the soothing heat a microwave heat bag can deliver. With some basic sewing skills, you can make your own.

Lizziecharlton over at Instructables has put together a step-by-step guide to creating your own DIY microwave heat bag. All you need some cotton material, thread, and some filing for the bag. Fillings can include rice, wheat, feed corn or beans. Optionally, you can add some essential oils if you like your bag to have a scent when heated. That, plus being able to choose a fabric that suits your tastes, is what elevates these bags over their store-bought counterparts.

Hit up the full post at Instructables to see how to make one for yourself.
