In the standard eight piece set, you get three mini bins (for binder clips, paper clips and the liike), three long and skinny bins (for things like pens and pencils), and two large bins (for everything else). Little latches on the sides of each bin allows you to attach them to the others and create a tray that suits your needs and fits your drawer.
