Remote camera triggers are great for taking steady pictures without futzing around with your camera. While you can certainly go out and buy one, YouTuber Gurnarok points out that you might already have one if you own a headset.
A camera’s remote port is the same size as a headphone jack, and that means that pretty much any headphone cable with a button on it will work as a shutter. If you’ve got an old Xbox headset sitting around collecting dust, it turns out it will work just as well.
