Australia’s domestic airline market is dominated by two major brands — Qantas and Virgin — but there are lots of discount brands and regional alternatives as well. Tell us your favourite way to fly in Australia in the comments and we’ll include all the best candidates in next week’s official vote.
Throughout this week, we’ll be asking for your nominations in additional categories relating to technology, organisation and productivity. Keep visiting the site every day to see when you can nominate your favourites, and make sure you’re back when voting starts next Monday.

Virgin.
QANTAS is still the best.
I’d say they’re the least crappy
Qantas, easily.
virgin is more comfy and boards/unboards from the front and back.
qantas gives you complimentary snack/meal.
Tiger!
Weren’t they grounded a while back? I hope this is a joke. 🙂
Qantas. Because it’s Australian, it’s safety record and attitude, on time performance and it’s all included product
Qantas, even though they’re the most expensive.
Qantas, but I wish we had better choice. as the best is still mediocre.
yeah, least crap would go to virgin, based on a value for money scenario, rex is also less crap.
None get my vote, all over priced, under serviced in my opinion
If I had to vote for one, it’d be Jetstar
Virgin. Flew them international in July and found them to be great.
Virgin
Virgin.
My experience over the past 12 months has been that Virgin has been dropping a bit, and Qantas is picking up, but there’d need to be a lot more of both for the places to swap. And Jetstar has no bloody hope.
