Build Your Own Desoldering Station

Desoldering stations are expensive, but it's the best option if you want to get solder off your electronics. If you don't mind doing a bit of the legwork yourself, DIY enthusiast Sable Wolf shows off how to build a desoldering station.

The process here is a little involved, and you'll need some tubing, wiring, a food switch, a desoldering iron, a vacuum pump and a few other little parts to build the whole thing. The end result is an affordable, easy-to-use desoldering station that will make all your electronics repairs and replacements a lot easier.
