Almost a year after we first learned about it, the Windows Azure Backup Service has exited preview and is now officially available as a service.

Windows Azure Backup lets you back up data to Azure from on-premises Windows Server systems. The process is driven by an Azure agent and encrypts data in the Azure backup. Hit the blog post below for a detailed walkthrough of how to set it up.
