Want to make a quick and easy hat stand that can double as a coat rack? All you need is a few basic IKEA components.
According to IKEA Hackers, you just need a LACK end table, BESTA legs, two packages (each) of BLECKA and BJARNUM hooks, and a few tools. With that you can create the simple rack you see above. The process is pretty obvious, but you can get full instructions on the IKEA Hackers post.

What kind of a world do we live in when you have a combination hat stand/coat rack? Good lord, Mavis will bullwinkle her jenny rogers down the blister bluster before she goes into a house without at least the basic necessities: One hat stand and One coat rack.
For shame, lifehacker. The quality of journalism has clearly slipped when you go around recommending a combination hat stand/coat rack willy nilly without at least asking somebody with some experience.
